Quirky little things that make me laugh, generally drive other people crazy. Let\u2019s take the McDonald\u2019s Filet-O-Fish<\/a><\/span> commercial<\/a><\/span> for example, I love<\/a><\/span> this commercial. The music bed is catchy as hell, the lyrics are simple yet funny<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u201cGive me back that filet-o-fish, give me that fish\u2026 Give back that filet-o-fish, give me that fish\u2026 what if it were you hanging up on this wall, if it were you in that sandwich you wouldn\u2019t be laughing at alllllllll.\u201d<\/p>\n

franklin<\/a><\/span> the Fish belts out this catchy tune as the dark haired chubby fellow is grooving and bopping to the tune and munching on a filet-o-fish. Another fellow walks in the garage, who I assume is his neighbor returning a drill he must have borrowed from Chubby.<\/p>\n

The drill looks new and probably hangs on the wall next to Franklin<\/a><\/span> as an ornament, I\u2019m guessing never before touched by Chubby. I also want to know who the heck sits in their garage eating a filet-o-fish sandwich anyway?<\/p>\n

Chubby continues to munch away and be-bop while his friend<\/a><\/span> looks at him as if he were nuts. That has me thinking about the friend returning the drill. Does he hear he music too, or is it only Chubby\u2019s illusion and the friend finds it unsettling that Chubby is bouncing and grinning while he eats his sandwich?<\/p>\n

Chubby raises his eyebrows at his friend as if to say, \u201cWhy aren\u2019t you eating a Filet-O-Fish and grooving along with me?\u201d Or is Chubby simply having an LSD flashback in his garage? The more I think about it, the more disturbing this commercial becomes for me.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I have to admit, I\u2019ve seen it a hundred times or more. I play it on the computer, I\u2019ve linked it to my Faceboob and I\u2019ll admit, I\u2019ve re-wound it on Tivo so I could watch it again and again. I\u2019m addicted to Franklin the Fish.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll make one more confession and I\u2019m going out on a limb here, but this commercial seems to drive my wife<\/a><\/span> nuts, so it makes it all that much more attractive to me. I even began to sing it to her in her sleep. I wonder how long it will take for her to uncontrollably crave a McDonald\u2019s Filet-O-Fish Sandwich.<\/p>\n
